What is a weblog?
A personal web page, updated easily by an author, that links outward to other material on the Web, and presents original content in a rolling, day-by-day fashion, with the latest entries on top. Weblogs act as filters and finders in a sea of information. They are a little like newspaper opinion pages, or an online magazine, except they are far more interactive and more personal. The software allows for production values high enough that the weblog author suffers no disadvantage in comparison to commercial providers, which is part of what I mean by communication equality. What is a moblog?
Moblog = mobile Weblog, which means a weblog onto which you can publish with your mobile phone or PDA. This gives the Weblog author total freedom when and where to publish. KAYWA Weblogs are also readable on a mobile phone which means even more freedom. You only need to go to http://home.kaywa.com/mobile and to look for latests posts or to search for a specific weblog by entering the subdomain. Every KAYWA weblog has its own mobile version, which you can directly access by adding "/mobile" to the weblog address (e.g. http://waeber.kaywa.com/mobile)

How does it work?
Every KAYWA Weblog has its own webaddress an is accessible via your computer, PDA or mobile phone. The address is a combination of the subdomain and kaywa.ch (or kaywa.com): http://subdomain.kaywa.ch, e.g. http://polis.kaywa.ch.
Add "/mobile" for the mobile version, e.g. http://polis.kaywa.ch/mobile

The administration interface ("admin"), which can only be entered by the weblog author, can be found at:
http://subdomain.kaywa.ch/admin

As weblog author you can change the name, subtitle and look of your weblog, you can publish or edit posts, create galleries and a lot more.

If you want to publish from a mobile phone, than send your MMS or email to your own moblog address. It is a combination of your username, password and your weblogaddress:
username+password@subdomain.kaywa.ch
Save this email address once in "contacts" on your mobile phone. Than make a photo and send it directly to this contact. Your photo will be published immediately on your moblog.

To stop the service
Please use this page to stop the service and close your weblog. The weblog will be immediately deactivated and you will not be billed anymore. However we keep the weblog for some days in case you would reactivate it.
